Discharge

Your physician will write a discharge order on your medical chart. The doctor or patient care provider will discuss your discharge plan with you. Your physician will instruct you on medications, diet and future appointments at his/her office.

Home Health Services

Following your stay with us, continued care at home is available should you need it. Upon request by your physician, our social services department will assist you with planning and coordination of your home health services.

Grateful Patients

Grateful patients, their families and community-minded citizens have donated many of the facilities and much of our sophisticated equipment. These voluntary contributions make possible the continued quality and growth of our hospital’s services. We will gratefully accept gifts of appreciation or memorials of any amount and acknowledge them to the donor, family and the one so honored. You may specify a gift for a particular need or for use as the Board of Directors deems appropriate.

Since Nanticoke Memorial is a non-tax-supported and not-for-profit facility, all gifts are tax-deductible. If you are considering such a gift, our office of Corporate Development will be happy to assist or advise you at ext. 2404.
