Nanticoke Health Services is pleased to announce that Susan Phillips, R.T.(R)(CT), has been named Employee of the Month for February 2019.

Susan started her career at Nanticoke Health Services in January 1981 as an x-ray technologist in the Radiology Department. She was cross-trained in mammography and special procedures, and in 1987, she was also given the opportunity to cross-train in CT. Susan became a full time CT technologist in 1992 and now serves as Senior CT Technologist.

Susan was born, raised, and lives in Laurel. As a local, she treats her patients like family and has probably scanned most of western Sussex County. She is known for providing excellent care to her patients and puts them first in all she does. Susan credits her success to the staff she works with every day. There is a mutual goal for her team to work together to provide the best CT imaging and patient care each and every shift.

Susan has been happily married to her husband, Bart, for 35 years. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Melissa and Kristen, who have blessed them with 4 grandchildren and 1 step grandchild. Susan enjoys spending time with her family and loves traveling with them to tropical locations that give her a needed dose of vitamin D. When Susan is not working or traveling, you can find her working out in a local gym to stay healthy and keep up with her grandchildren.

Nanticoke appreciates all of Susan’s hard work and dedication. Please join us in congratulating Susan as Employee of the Month for February 2019!
