Nanticoke Health Services is pleased to announce that Charles “Chuck” Conaway has been named Employee of the Month for May 2019.

Chuck started his career at Nanticoke Health Services in July 2001 as a Security Guard after retiring from 20 years of service as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army. After a year, he transferred to Nanticoke’s Maintenance Department where he has worked as a Maintenance Mechanic Specialist for the past 17 years. Chuck is a shift team member who specializes in signage and supports the department with a positive attitude.

Chuck is known throughout the organization as a team player and someone who can give you a good laugh. His peers note that he always goes out of his way to help and make sure any issues encountered during his shift are resolved quickly and efficiently. One coworker noted that he carries a heavy workload most nights, but always manages to fix or help with any issues that arise.

Chuck and his wife, Pat, are Sussex County locals and have six children (Mike, Billy, Michele, Candy, Chuck and Crystal). During his free time, Chuck enjoys spending time with his family, friends and coworkers. He also enjoys fishing, gardening, playing horseshoes and helping others fix up their homes.

Nanticoke appreciates all of Chuck’s hard work and dedication. Please join us in congratulating him as our May Employee of the Month!
