Nanticoke Health Services is pleased to announce that Donna Ervin, BSN, RN, CCRN-K, has been named Nurse of the Month for June 2017.
Donna began her career at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in 2012 as a Critical Care Clinical Educator. She brought with her 25 years of experience as a Cardiac Critical Care Nurse at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey. As a Clinical Educator, she is the primary educator for ICU, PCU and CDU. She worked with her peers to help redesign the new orientation program for RNs and CSTs. She also teaches the Basic Dysrhythmia class for all nursing staff on telemetry based units and the Critical Care Class for nurses wanting to advance their clinical skills.
Donna is dedicated to giving her best at her job. She comes in early, stays late, and always has a “how can I help” attitude. She is currently working on her Masters in Nursing Education at Wilmington University. When presented with the award, Donna noted that “I truly love my Nanticoke family and I love what I do.”
Donna lives in Seaford with her husband, Michael. They have two sons that both live out of state and visit during the holidays. Donna is part of the Artistic Theater Group at her church and enjoys working out in the S.W.E.A.T. program at Powerhouse Gym. She also enjoys traveling and visiting the Rehoboth and Lewes beaches every chance she can.
Nanticoke appreciates all of Donna Ervin’s hard work and dedication. Please join us in congratulating Donna as Nurse of the Month for June 2017!
