A colonoscopy is a procedure performed for a variety of reasons, but most often to screen for colon cancer. In Delaware, colon cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths. The good news is, if colon cancer is found early, it is often curable – and that’s why having a colonoscopy is so important.
