Breast Cancer - Women in Pink copy

It is important that everyone has a primary care provider. All women 18 years and older should have annual women’s wellness check with your gynecologist or primary care physician. An annual women’s well check should include a PAP smear and clinical breast exam.

Cervical Cancer Screening (PAP Smear)

All women should have a PAP smear during their annual gynecological wellness exam. A PAP smear helps screen for cervical cancer. During this screening, cells are gently scraped from the cervix and sent to a lab to be examined under a microscopic for abnormalities.

A colonoscopy is used to detect colon cancer or to find polyps before they become cancerous.
