Khalil F. Gorgui, MD – Medical Director
Dr. Gorgui leads the team as Medical Director. Dr. Gorgui is Board Certified in both internal medicine and wound care, and has been a senior member of the medical staff at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital since 1995. He completed his residency at Englewood Medical Center in Englewood, New Jersey, an affiliate with Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and is an integral part of the growing Nanticoke network of physicians.
Luis Barcena, MD
Dr. Barcena brings highly valued skills in the Infectious Disease specialty to our team, in addition to being fluent in English and Spanish. Having graduated with his Doctor of Medicine degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana School of Medicine/ Hospital Universitario San Ignacia in Bogotá, Colombia, he completed residency in Internal Medicine at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, and fellowship in Infectious Disease at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Francisco A. Padilla, MD
Dr. Padilla supports excellence in management of our hyperbaric patients. Padilla completed his residency through the University of Connecticut (UConn) Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program at New Britain General Hospital in New Britain, Connecticut. He also completed his fellowship through UConn at the UConn Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut. He is Board Certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. Dr Padilla’s specialized knowledge in glucose management supports holistic care for our diabetic patients.
