MRI Imaging

Nanticoke Health Services

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a radiologic technique that uses magnetism, radio waves and a computer to produce imagines of the body. MRI is used to diagnose many things from torn ligaments to cancer or a stroke.

Nanticoke Memorial Hospital offers a GE Signa HDx 15.0 -1.5 Tesla Magnet enabling us to perform brain, spinal, abdominal, muscular skeletal, and extremity imaging, and perform Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA). MRA is used to provide more information about blood vessels including reductions in blood flow and the condition of blood vessels.

Nanticoke’s staff is focused on providing quality, compassionate care in a safe environment.

MRI services are available Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
